How To Submit Materials for posting on this page
Here is an opportunity to display your student work to the world! In honor of 2005: The Year of Languages, CT COLT is posting work from pre-K-12th grade periodically throughout the year on this page. You may submit student work for the language that you teach or encourage your students to explore their heritage languages!
Please read your student work before sending to check for accuracy and appropriateness. Ask parents to help proofread all work done in heritage languages.
Please send any documents in MS Word format. All graphics or pictures must be sent in JPEG format. Please send all documents, scanned graphics and pictures to Paul St. Louis at pmsaint@map.com. If you are sending a link to a YOL web site, please make sure that the URL is correct before sending it. Please put the following words in the subject line of your e-mail message: "Submission for CT COLT YOL Scrapbook."
In order to submit student work, it is necessary that you complete the following waiver and have the parents/guardians of the student sign it. Please click on the following link to download the waiver. This is a PDF file. (Waiver for student work to be placed on CT COLT web site)
Initial submissions are limited to 6 items for each school, but after one month 6 additional items may replace those originally placed on the web site.

Poems
Games
Letters (to pen-pals or key-pals)
Shopping List or Wish List
Calendars
Menus
Pictures of World Language YOL events at your school
Essays
Link to your school's Year of Languages Web Site
The following information is required on the top of the first page of student work:
Name Language Grade School Town State Country Example: *Susana P. Spanish 5 West Woods Farmington CT USA *IMPORTANT: Do not include the student's last name on any work submitted. Please give only the FIRST NAME of the student the INITIAL of his/her LAST NAME.
